Tara Reid started with commercials in her early years and later was noticed when she was a part of Saved by the Bell: The New Class. Even though her acting abilities have come under fire but it's evident that she's performed the role well. Her breakthrough came when she got her big break as Bunny on The Big Lebowski. This film proved to be a stepping stone in her career. She began to get better offers with movies like Urban Legend and Cruel Intentions. But it wasn't American Pie the cult movie featuring sexually explicit teens which established Reid in the spotlight as a promising actress on the horizon in Hollywood with her role as virgin Vicky. It didn't lead to a big, successful Hollywood career. Reid suffered several failures, including unfavorable films like Josie and the Pussycats. Reid did play a role in American Pie 2 for a couple of minutes, however this didn't help her decline in career. Reid's off-screen blunders, a well-publicized and disastrous plastic surgery, and her numerous performances that have been a blink and miss, has made her more of a party-goer or designer instead of an actress.
