Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American sportscaster. She hosts SportsNation as well as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She joined ESPN as a news anchor in the year 2016. Her mother is Maria Antonieta Collins, a television reporter. Antonietta Collins is bilingual since the age of nine years old a useful talent that enabled her to get her first position working as an assistant to the producer with Univision in Miami which gave her the chance to work with the producers of national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. In the summer in 2006 she spent a week with her sister in Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl worked there. Antonietta is a senior in high school but she knew exactly what career path she wanted. When she was deciding whether Mount Union is the right choice for her Antonietta went to visit the school. The campus was beautiful and provided the education she wanted. After graduation, she enrolled at the University as an undergraduate major in media studies. Mark Bergmann - her professor and manager at WRMU (91.1 FM), where she belonged. Her professor Mark Bergmann inspired her with his enthusiasm for journalism. He also deeply impacted her.
